Nutrition Tips For Halloween
Yes indeed, it’s (almost) that time of year when the little darlings dress up in cute costumes and then try to gorge themselves into a sugar-induced coma. What can be done?
Some ideas:
• Give non-food “treats” to the little trick-or-treaters. Kids love getting something unique, such as little mini-Play Dohs, crayons, pennies, stickers, or small age appropriate toys. There are lots of options, and they can end up costing less than those bags of little candy bars. (Plus, you won’t be tempted to raid the leftovers afterwards.)
